BIO-SUSHY Project at the Smart Manufacturing Summit in Japan
The BIO-SUSHY project attended the Smart Manufacturing Summit in Aichi (Japan) from March 13 to 15. The project, represented by its coordinator, Materia Nova, disseminated its innovative solutions through a poster that was translated into Japanese for the occasion.
The Smart Manufacturing Summit, hosted by Global Industrie, aimed to bridge European and Japanese industries toward a smarter and more responsible future for manufacturing.
The summit attracted a diverse audience, including industry leaders, institutions, and innovators. Featuring exhibitions, conferences, innovation showcases, and factory tours, the event highlighted six key categories of Industry 5.0: Connected Manufacturing, Advanced Technology & Materials, Digital Ecosystems, Sustainable Manufacturing, Smart Mobilities, and Renewable Energy.
With around 250 exhibitors and 15,000 visitors, the summit provided a platform for fostering collaborations and sharing insights between Japanese and European counterparts. The BIO-SUSHY project, with its focus on sustainable manufacturing practices, contributed to this dialogue.
