1st BIO-SUSHY SSbD Training – Recordings & Slides
Last week, on November 26, 2024, we hosted our first BIO-SUSHY online training session, which focused on Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles and lignin safety in bio-based food packaging. We are pleased to announce that the training materials are now available for those who missed the event or wish to review the content.
Training Highlights
The session, moderated by AXIA INNOVATION, brought together partners from ITENE, Wood K Plus, and the University of Leeds. The topics covered were:
- SSbD framework and its application in lignin safety assessment
- Different types of lignin and their safety considerations
- Toxicity data generated within the BIO-SUSHY project
- Practical examples of applying SSbD to lignin compounds
