Next 25-27 March we are taking part in the European Coating Show (ECS) 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany . As one of the leading events for the coatings industry, ECS provides an ideal platform to present our PFAS-free bio-based coatings.
Four of our consortium partners will present on the innovations developed within the BIO-SUSHY framework, addressing the urgent need for safe and sustainable alternatives to PFAS across various industries. Below are the highlights of our contributions:

- Wood K Plus will present the project’s efforts in food packaging. In particular, we will talk about PFAS-free thermoplastic-based powders designed for paper-based substrates.

- Materia Nova will showcase their development of PFAS-free coatings for cosmetic glass packaging, designed with SSbD principles in mind.

In addition to the technical presentations, SiKEMIA will host a booth in Hall 2, Booth 400 , where attendees can learn more about the BIO-SUSHY project and its contributions to the bioeconomy.
